It Feels Like Camping... But At Least We Have A Place To Call Home

Well, after 3 weeks of late nights, hungry, tired kids, and LOTS of driving, we are moved in (kinda). Paint needs to happen, base board needs to be finished, outlets need to be covered, fans need to be hung, and... Toilets NEED to be put in place, and of course the cleaning (tired just thinking of all I need to do) We have our stuff all over the place, but at least its here. I am taking it one room at a time, and I have the hardest time doing that. I just want to do it all at once, which is impossible, there is just too much. It is just so hard for me to live in the clutter, and not know where anything is. My poor girls have been in their PJ's for who knows how long. You really don't want to know what I look like. But over all, its so nice to be here! Even though it does feel like camping.
For a week straight Jeff went in early to work and then stayed super late tearing up the house so we could put all new flooring. He is such a trooper! He never complained, except for telling me late at night before he would crash... how much he missed seeing Kloey. I am so grateful for him, and all he does for our family! We are also so grateful for all of our family who helped with the move! You guys are the best! And my dad... holy moly...THANKS so much Dad! Me and Jeff are so grateful for all you did! We are so blessed, that's all I can say. Even though I feel like my mind went a little coo coo, and it might take a little while to get it right, I have the BEST LIFE!
I will post pic of the new place when I can find my camera :).

Wow, what a big job. So is this a renovation or a new home? We totally renovated our house, I remember the day the carpet went in was the first night we slept in it. Of course it was like camping on the floor. It will be nice when everything finds its place. Although just last week, Wyatt asked where something was and I told him that I moved it cause it just never made any sense where it was before. (After 3 years of living here) Good luck

To Bekah & Dawn, yes it was a renovation... we had renters in it for 2 years and man.. they just trashed the place. So we have had a BLAST (hence the sarcasm ;)) cleaning up after them. It really is coming along, it does just take time :)
