December, December...

I really don't know how to start this post, so many things have happened. So many different emotions, with so many different experiences. December started off very hectic, we moved (we just got in our house last Friday). But the first 2 weeks of Dec. we had our ward Christmas party (polar express) and it was a hit! I started the day off with helping set up for it.. ended up in the back of a cop car..(long story) but very scary and very emotional day for me. But then the ward party was amazing! We had such an amazing ward, with Such AWESOME people! Then last Thursday we had our Enrichment party for the women in the ward, and WOW. The theme was "Journey through the life of Christ". I think I got WAY more out of it preparing it for the women then the women did. (isn't that they way it always happens) It was such a testimony builder for me! I really got to experience some amazing things, I know that the women, (and MYSELF) needed that. If anyone wants the program of it, let me know cause I can e-mail it to you. I felt so stressed and so many CRAZY things were happening I really wanted to just throw in the towel and not do the program, but then I had to laugh to myself cause I knew it needed to be done, and ... the blessings that have come from doing it are simply amazing. There were a few families in our ward that chipped in and got our family Christmas presents, I just can't thank them enough for their kindness. I really am going to miss our ward in QC. I have never met better people!
Other than all of that, we are doing GREAT! We will finally put up our Christmas tree tomorrow, I have moved the boxes out of the way so it will fit perfectly, I am not sure where my lights and ornaments are, but who cares, we will go all natural. I just love this time of year, It is a time to really reflect on our Savior and the life he lived and his purpose here on earth. It just makes me want to be better. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
