nothing good can come out of quiet children ..... except when they are sleeping.

So everyone knows when children are quiet for too long its not a good thing. I have been so proud lately of how Kloey has taken Klaire to her room to play with her. Klaire loves it! (when Kloey is being nice and not too bossy). The other day when I was doing dishes after finishing I noticed it was REALLY quiet... too quiet. So I run upstairs as fast as I could and I couldn't find the girls in either of their rooms. I look in mine... nothing, I hear something coming from my closet, so I open the door and Kloey and Klaire were both sitting down with legs crossed in the exact same position as the other looking at me with the biggest eyes... almost like waiting for me, with black all over their sweet faces. Kloey was much worse, I could tell she was the mastermind behind the situation... (of course) the first thing she says is ... "Mom, do I look beautiful like you?".... good heavens child I thought I HOPE I don't look like that when I wear makeup. (sigh) This is the first and LAST time she will do this. (i hope). I couldn't help but laugh, and I really hope that doesn't encourage her to do it again, but silly girl. We talked after the bath and admired her beautiful face in the mirror with NO makeup and I told her how she is GORGEOUS without all the blackness, of course she asks why I wear it, and honestly I couldn't give her a really good answer.....? (mom would frighten people without it?.. no... ? mom needs to cover up some of the scariness?... no..? all true, but not anything I would want to tell my 3 year old... really no good answer.?) why do we wear makeup..?
